With your shoulder partner, you are going to investigate the differences DNA and RNA, and take a look at the processes of transcription and translation.
You should have already glued the handout in your journal. Next, watch the Amoeba Sisters (they are pretty stellar!) talk about DNA vs. RNA. Watch and scroll back and forth through the video to answer the questions in the first box.
After you finish the first questions, move on to the second video on that talks about transcription and translation and answer the second box of questions.
Last, search a good diagram in GOOGLE that shows the processes of transcription and translation (must be labeled). Draw and color the diagram on the next page in your journal. Use the rest of class and make your diagram pop!
