Be Prepared!
So.. It's finals week! But don't panic, you have everything you need to be successful on our science final. Remember, your science journal and our class website are your greatest resources! Over the next few days, use this link to access to Kahoot! to help you study from home.
Here's a breakdown of our test:
-40 Questions
-Remember: Do not answer 36 & 37 on your GradeCam Sheet
-Scientific Skills: 3 Questions
-Stimulus & Response: 6 Questions
-Genetics (DNA structure and function, Heredity, Protein Synthesis, Mutations, Mitosis/Meiosis): 31 Questions
Bell Work 12/11:
In your journal, write down three questions about the final that have to do with the content. (i.e. What is the end result in mitosis?) After 5 minutes has passed, talk with your group members and decide which question is the most important. Circle that questions in your group members journal.
We will discuss these and write them on the white board. As we cover these questions in class today, we will mark them off. This will create a road map for the week.
Before we Kahoot!, let's review our vocab from the heredity unit and talk about expectations for class today.
Today in our review you will be expected to be able to do the following objectives:
-I can describe the structure and function of DNA.
-I can describe genetic mutations and how they are most of neutral.
-I can describe differences in a genotype and a phenotype.
